Propelair enters the Far East

As part of our 2020 global expansion, we are delighted to announce a shipment of Propelair toilets are due to arrive in Hong Kong early July ’20 via our valued Hong Kong distribution partner Delta Pyramax. This particular shipment is destined for a large Conference Centre, with more to follow!

“We have worked with Propelair for several years now and are delighted to be a partner.
Propelair provides a real solution to a growing problem and the more businesses that we can help, the more water, energy and money we can save them, whilst having a positive impact on the environment.”
Delta Pyramax

With a population of 7.5 million people, Hong Kong is a major business hub with over 3.1 million ‘non-domestic’ toilets. Together with Delta Pyramax, we are set to target this non-domestic market and help even more businesses and organisation reduce their water consumption by 84%, save them money, increase hygiene by up to 95% by reducing aerosilised germs including the spread of COVID-19, and reduce the carbon footprint.

Hong Kong remains more water scarce than parts of the Middle East and Africa, whilst the cost of water has doubled in the past decade, with local supplies deemed as inadequate by officials. Demand for water in Hong Kong also continues to grow with the daily per – capita usage (including seawater flushing) at 220 litres – double the global average.

80% of Hong Kong’s fresh water is sourced from mainland China of which two – thirds of cities face water shortages due to disrupted climate, pollution from aggressive expansion and growing populations.

In addition, according to the UN the global water demand is set to exceed supply by 40% by 2030 and the fast increase in population dictates the time to act is now.

Propelair is currently expanding into water-stressed countries and regions with high water costs via a range of trusted distribution partners. If you would like to work with us as a valued partner, please contact james.surgeon@propelair.com
