Propelair has been shortlisted in the Water Efficiency Award category at the upcoming BMA Sustainability Awards. The awards are given out by the Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA), which Propelair joined on 20th September. The awards ceremony will take place on 23rd November in London; winners will be announced on the day.
By joining the association, Propelair has become its newest sustainability-focused member.
BMA’s CEO Tom Reynolds said improving the environmental credentials of the bathroom sector is one of the BMA’s key strategic priorities. “We’re excited to welcome Propelair onboard. Their innovative product is already being used by many organisations in the UK and beyond to reduce water demand.”
For Propelair, joining the BMA is a natural part of its growth. CEO David Hollander said: “Joining the BMA is an obvious step for us. We are focused on increasing our presence in the office, retail and leisure and hotel sectors. The insight the BMA can offer is invaluable.”
The BMA has over fifty member organisations who manufacture bathroom products. In addition, they have twenty affiliate members. Its members include SMEs as well as large multinational corporations, all with UK entities.
The collective sales of the BMA members achieve a retail value of £4 billion, covering an estimated 80% of the market by value, making a significant contribution to the UK economy. Now that Propelair has joined the BMA, it expects to add further value to the UK economy.
