On the 18th June 2020, Propelair launched its crowdfunding campaign via the Seedrs platform. This was part of a larger raise – and we wanted to reserve an allocation for you, our community, to own a part of our business.
Propelair’s Seedrs crowdfunding campaign has been very successful
We had an initial target of £900,005 and a fantastic opportunity for people to be able to join our mission. But we were only too aware of the difficult times everyone was facing. The recent outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic caused disruption and uncertainty all over the world. However, with the tragedy and hardship experienced, the pandemic also raised the focus on hygiene and sustainability. These are two major factors that justify the very existence of the Propelair toilet system!
We have raised over £1.2 million thanks to you, our community!
Six weeks on, I’m delighted to reflect that not only did we meet our target, but thanks to your incredible support, we’ve smashed it!
We achieved our target in just 5 days from the public launch. In fact, Propelair’s Seedrs crowdfunding campaign has been so successful, that:
we are in the top 6% of Seedrs’ most successful campaigns of all time,
we are the third most successful B2B raise of all time and
independent crowdfunding rating team Nextfin awarded us a ‘Gold’ rating. Nextfin rate crowdfunding investment opportunities from leading crowdfunding platforms. Out of over 700 businesses, only 5% achieve the Gold rating!
Almost 900 new investors
It’s been incredible to welcome so many new investors to the Propelair team. And it has also been a tremendous pleasure speaking directly with potential investors. The Seedrs platform gave potential investors the opportunity to ask questions to me directly. That has given me invaluable insight on the perceptions of both the product and the business. And, it has highlighted to me once more the ground breaking potential we have to help save the planet… one flush at a time!
