Propelair celebrates World Toilet Day

World Toilet Day 2020 brings attention to sustainable sanitation and climate change.

World Toilet Day is a United Nations observance that celebrates toilets. But more than merely celebrating, it also raises awareness of the 4.2 billion people who have no access to safely managed sanitation.

Further, the aim of World Toilet Day is to encourage action to tackle the global sanitation crisis. In particular, it relates to number 6 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6) aims to achieve water and sanitation for everybody by 2030.

Although the UN aims to achieve SDG 6 in just ten years, we are way off track in achieving water access and sanitation for everybody. But the global business community can and must work together to solve this emergency.

Together, we can alleviate the water and sanitation crisis and achieve SDG 6 within the next ten years. Let’s get things done!

At Propelair, our vision is to benefit our planet by challenging, improving and delivering water efficient technology. We do this with our Propelair toilet.

Compared to standard toilets, the Propelair toilet only requires 1.5 litres of water to flush away waste efficiently. Watch how it works here. We strive to reduce water consumption and carbon footprint, whilst improving washroom hygiene.

Innovation is at the forefront of everything we do in our continuous effort to benefit every toilet user – be that visitors, customers, staff members or patients.
